Check point for international customers to restart

Necon Pet Food is looking to business of tomorrow and is ready to meet all foreign retailers. New proposals in the field of cats

Andrea Conforti, Necon Pet Food CEO, told: ‘We return to Zoomark International with even more enthusiasm than in the past. We are ready to meet our international customers and meet all our foreign sellers again. We are expecting a lively and intense event. We are counting on concluding good business, of course, but also on gathering new profitable contacts for our future business. We are waiting for visitors in Hall 22 at our Stand B31. At Zoomark we officially present a new food for sterilized cats dedicated to the well-being of their urinary tract. We are talking about two recipes, Sterilized Urine pH Ocean Fish & Rice and Pork & Rice, from the Natural Wellness cat line, specifically designed to control urinary pH in sterilized cats’. The representatives of Necon Petfood Research and Development Teams explain that the company has recently formulated new foods for sterilized cats, characterized by the presence of a balanced mix of nutrients that allow maintaining the urinary pH of cats in an ideal range. As for the plans for 2023, Andrea Conforti, Necon PetFood CEO, underlined: ‘Our goal is to continue to grow, invest in Research and Development to update, and perfect our proposals for complete and complementary foods. We are also increasing our communication activities, with the creation of both institutional and product video materials also for the social networks, which we monitor every day’.

Eyes on Natural Code cat snacks

Natural Line returns to Bologna with a new range including 5 typological references, from puppies to sterilized cats

Andrea Della Zoppa, Natural Line CFO, confirmed: ‘Natural Line will be present at Zoomark International in Bologna with the entire Natural Code and LEV range. It will be the first participation at Zoomark after the international debut last year. For the occasion we are presenting our Snack cat line, our latest novelty. This line proposes 5 references (1 kitten, 2 adult, 2 sterilized cats): completely natural, grain free, and made in Italy, to satisfy the requests that come from the market of a segment, that of snacks, which continues to grow. During the year, the range of complete and complementary wet foods for cats will then be expanded with the arrival of new recipes, always with Natural Code quality’. Natural Line, which for over ten years has been taking care of dogs and cats from its headquarters in the province of Massa Carrara, with its pet food under the motto of ‘Joy and Colour’, recorded a turnover of 13.4 million Euros in 2021. Since 2014, the company has also collaborated with the Animal Nutrition and Feeding Laboratory of the Department of Veterinary Sciences of the University of Turin, which carries out analyzes on Natural Code brand products, to ascertain the quality of the raw materials and the right amount of nutritional properties.

Achievement as an international lifestyle brand

At the Fair in Bologna, MyFamily is looking for a further push to establish a European single-brand network in busy locations

Alessandro Borgese, MyFamily CEO, explained: ‘At Zoomark 2023, we will present the latest model of our memopet harnesses with H hug, as well as new dog tag designs that will become part of our Food and Charms collections’. The expansion of the catalogue will help to better satisfy the wishes of consumers in everyday life. ‘In this edition of the fair we want to establish ourselves even more as an international pet lifestyle brand through our three main strengths: totally Made in Italy production, vast range of models for all needs, and innovation we bring to every design’. In 2023, the project linked to the opening of MyFamily single-brand boutiques in strategic points around the world continues. ‘Last July we inaugurated our first store at the Orio al Serio airport in Bergamo and in December the one at Marco Polo airport in Venice. The next openings will be in Rome Fiumicino, Rome Termini, Milan Central Station, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Malaga’. The declared goal is to reach 40 stores by 2025. Thanks to the work of its 165 employees for 15 internal departments who work on every production detail from its Valenza (Alessandria) headquarters, My Family markets its own catalogue of 1,500 products – among tags and accessories for animals such as collars, leashes, and harnesses – through 46 distributors in 14,200 stores, 139 chains for 103 Countries worldwide.

Natural bar for muscle well-being

Guidolin showcases company’s know-how in the field of functional products for the health of domestic dogs

Gianni Guidolin, CEO of the homonymous company, explained: ‘At Zoomark, this year we are presenting Be Active, the natural bar that supports the well-being of dog’s musculoskeletal system, relieving muscle and joint pain’. Inside the bar there are only medicinal herbs, whose active ingredients help relieve stiffness, inflammation, swelling, and pain caused by disorders and pathologies of the joints. This bar, which looks like a biscuit, can be consumed without difficulty and can transform dog’s health care into a pleasant moment for it, too. ‘We expect this edition to offer us interesting opportunities for meeting and in-depth analysis concerning the world of pets, their health and proper nutrition. We think there could be an important return of foreign visitors, therefore an opportunity to start new successful collaborations’. In 2023, the collaboration with the pharmacy department of the University of Padua will continue for the development of Be-Natural line, new functional bars for dogs. Guidolin Gianni Group was founded in 1979 in Piazzola Sul Brenta, in the province of Padua, in the heart of one of the main national cereal production areas. It boasts over 40 years of experience and 150 thousand tonnes of product sold per year.
